I have been seeing Dr Ravindran for just under a year now after complications during an NHS operation left me with nerve damage to my thighs. Dr Ravindran has been very understanding though from the outset didn't pull any punches as to the nature of the damage - highlighting that some of it could in fact be permanent. Having put me on a course of drugs to nullify the pain, under his guidance I am now gradually reducing the dosage. Just a pity that is colleagues in the NHS couldn't show the same understanding and a number of months were wasted before I managed to see Dr Ravindran - at first privately and now eventually on the NHS. Unlike some of his NHS colleagues he both listens and engages with myself.

I was referred to Dr Ravindran after 2 years of unbearable head pain. After bouncing around from GP, physio, oesteopaths, homeopath, acupuncture, I had exhausted all options. Dr Ravindran is superb, he is considered, appreciates the pain level which I don't think anyone has ever done and the treatment has significantly changed my life. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience and of the Spire hospital, I am very greatful. I only wished I'd been referred sooner!

I have been seeing Dr. Ravindran since 2012 and he has always listened carefully to all I have said to him. He has helped me through 2 periods of acute chronic pain, using, or referring, all treatments available to him that are appropriate for my condition. He was very supportive when I made the decision to have surgery in addition to pain relief drugs. I still need to take a combination of pain relief drugs and use the spinal cord stimulator recommended by Dr. Ravindran, but I am now able to be much more active. My quality of life has significantly improved. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to any other person with chronic pain problems.
